A moment of reflection with Rabbi Lisa S. Greene
Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90)
We count our days between Passover and Shavuot. We could simply count, 1, 2, 3… Or, we can stop and reflect on our days and their meaning and purpose, what we've learned, and how we’ve traveled through the wilderness of unknowns, as our ancestors journeyed through the wilderness of uncertainty from Egypt to the Promised Land. Wisdom? No guarantees. But, as a start, pausing to reflect and take stock can fill our hearts with awareness and appreciation, and make our days count!
